HYROX YOUNGSTARS: Hyrox For Kids!

According to founder and CEO of Hyrox Christian Toetzke, Hyrox now have 300,000 gyms (as affiliated Training Clubs) and 270 million members (participants in Hyrox training clubs / races world wide).

Now Hyrox is looking to build grass roots through Hyrox Youngstars, a specially designed Hyrox race specifically for kids aged 8 to 15 years old. The growth of the sport has been unprecedented, and with a global network Hyrox is making a bid for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.

The concept was first introduced back in 2024 at the London Olympia event in May. It tests the young athletes capabilities through a series of 9 functional fitness stations. It's divided into 4 different age categories (8-9 years, 10-11 years, 12-13 years and 14-15 years), with varying station demands for each age group.

The Youngstars race format is similar to the adult version of the Hyrox race and tests multiple skills including speed, agility, coordination, strength and fitness. For a full breakdown of the Hyrox Youngstars race format check out this video:
